Karazhan ? wtf

Hello Lady's and Gentlemen's,

I was asking myself as we just PuG into Karazhan last Night if it really will not get anymore love from the Dev's.

I mean Huntsman Shadowcleave hits for 8000+ on a really well-geared Tank including 4000+ Autoattacks within Seconds while it is impossible to Disarm him duo the immunity.

Moroes and Maid feeled like retail or let me say atleast i didnt had any supect mechanics to deal. But then we couldnt loot Mongose duo Master Loot Bug which should fixed asap.

But then Romulo and Julianne comes into the play. Sure we have more dps because of wotlk talents and balancing but cmon guys. You cant interupt ANY of Julianne's skills and Romulo again do such a massiv DMG on our Maintank that is far far away from what is was on retail. Heck we nearly cleared Karazhan on TBC retail with a hell of green/blueish level Items and get WAY less damange or heal pressure.

Then comes the problem u have to do OPTIONAL Bosses to open Chess Door. Why?

I asking myself if this bugs intended or will they get ever fixed? Or are you just focusing on Wotlk which i may ask because you do sunwell ptr.

Just to mention Shadowcleave hits for 4000 on retail and not that absurd high Number now. I know its doable and i dont say otherwise. But you guys know its just an lame excusse for bugs to happen and not get fixed. I really liked Karazhan and i just wanted to do it smooth and with no stress at all but as far it is now ts really a pain in the *** for most PuGs.

p.s.: I know its hard to balance non skill.

Karazhan was fixed like 2 weeks ago.
Before, Huntsman cleaved like for 25k and nevertheless we have killed him 2days after releasing TBC with 68 lvl tanks. It takes like 10 or 15 wipes but in result, it s worth :D
After fix (now), he cleaves for amount which you posted, like 5k or so.
I think for now, Karazhan is easiest instance in TBC.
Karazhan is well-done fixed in my point of view, they have done good job.

Well Cleave still hits for 8000+ I didnt take a screen so i cant counter your 5k. Bit it hits that hard believe me. And Opera Events are still bugged. Ofc its one of the easiest Raid in TBC and even when most of the mechanics works it still isnt complet working as intended which makes me still sad. You cant tell me a complet Hero/Symbol/Terrace Warrior Tank bits the dust withing a global shot from Attumen or Romulo. He cant have Shildwall all the time. Ofc he migation the damn via cooldown and it IS indeed possible to clear even with PuGs.
But you know the people who just leave after 1 or 2 wipes and that make thing even more annoying.
I just recall another Damange formular fix so it mirrors the retail more.
Red Hood event is also bugging after "fix". the whole raid gets the debuff which isnt the problem here but still it is a problem overall.

I understand your opinion and like i said i know it is cleared "hundred" of times. But it is a nice raid which should get here and there again some love from the Devs.

Man, we have been Karazhan yesterday (few hours ago), and everything was working well.

well uhm...no. But okay. I see where it goes.

We managed to kill it, when he cleaved for 17k+, and when prince was casting enfeeble on MT, so stop whining about T4 raid that's easy now and just report it to bugtracker.

No Idea why you would have problems on Romulo and Julianne or were you not aware of their buffs you have to steal/dispell? :)

Other than that Karazhan is working just fine as others have already said. The 1st boss could oneshot the tank in the first week but it's been fixed for quite some time already, same with the last boss and his enfeeble.

Let's stop circlejerking each other about how simple or doable things are. Fact remains that lots of things are broken and not blizzlike. Aran also cannot be interrupted for example. These are all issues which should be fixed, and if anything take away the depth of the different encounters. Also I'd really like if there was official information about each encounter how exactly it was changed from the original, if such modification was done to increase the difficulty of an encounter.

Karazhan right now is in a more than decent state, that's not circlejerking...its a fact.
Plenty of people cleared it in **** gear ~3-4days after TBC launch and it's even easier now with the biggest bugs being fixed.

What makes you think they should waste more time on it right now when others tbc raids are closed completely due to bigger issues, not to mention the WotLK launch soon™?

I'm all for moving on, personally I feel like we're on TBC too long already. Just saying lots of things are off, and I hope things get better as we get wotlk content
