Server Location

Sorry couldn't find this anyway, I am trying to maximise my connection and I was wondering where the server was located so I can optimally setup my internet.

Thought I heared it's located in France.

I think its the Netherlands, not 100% sure, but its definetly somewhere in central Europe.

Whatever you're trying to do, unless changing location/isp's, won't help you.

there are people out there that actually believe that you can improve pings via vpn, i once saw this mentioned here on the forums, this was the first time i actually facepalmed in my life, the second time was when ppl were talking about better ping meaning better fps in the same thread.

Please tell me you made that up.

Some people will get a better connection using a VPN, but only the people who have what I call Walmart Internet.
And no, I didn't make that up, I'm going off years of experience and a degree in networking.

As for the server location, they're in France.

In actuality I am from Australia, we have 3rd world internet where a good ping is 400 on this server.

Using one of those 'Vapourware' programs WTFast, It actually consistently dropped my Ping from 400 to 320, its only annoying that the free version makes you watch an Ad when you start it up.

So its doing something.
