Been gone a while due to illness....found all my chars gone...again?!

Dear Warmane/Molten,

After the hickups of the beginning of this year I stayed and stuck to Molten, then transferred to Warmane.
I built up my guild, all my chars, and was confident all would now be safe and secure.

Not long after this I had to leave the game temporarily due to medical issues.
I've just returned, to find all my characters, everything gone...again.

I can't find anything on further issues after I left last; did we have a second spree of misfortune? What am I to do now?
Is there any way of backing up all my chars?

Please help :(

There was a second one like half a week after the first, when the replacement host we picked at first had to be ditched, but you wouldn't have missed it unless you restored and then right away vanished, and you say you built a guild and all.

That leaves two possibilities I can think of. Someone accessed your account and deleted everything or your characters were all in Sargeras, which was closed and everyone with characters there given months to transfer them to Frostwolf for free.

Omg...yes, we were on Sargeras. Why on earth was that closed?
Any way of getting my stuff back, I have nothing left now...
Surely there must be logs you guys have of Sargeras. I have printscreens of my characters.

Appreciate there's been months that have passed, but medical issues unfortunately, don't seem to care about time-scales.

If i remember it was merged with Frostwolf because of low population. Free transfers were open for a long time before realm was closed. Sadly you wont get your stuff back and you have to start all over again.
