just want to share my thoughts here:
- I m currently on lvl 73 so i would get like 14g per RDF
- yesterday I made 3x Nexus normal runs
- after those 3 runs my bags (20/80 before runs) was full - only green/blue items in bags
- total income over 400g
yeah, RDF is so economy-breaking thing with its free gold....
I doubt you'll get 14g at each finished RDF; once every 24h the reward is doubled... BUT I do get your point!! Altogether the idea that RDF should be disabled is not based on economy break/stutter or whatever; the point (as I understood) was to make people "move their backs" and [socialize], also the vanilla/tbc leveling will help the new players and blah blah blah (how many players start their wow adventure on a wotlk server, prior to wod version....?). However spamming in "GLOBAL" channel (as most people are not in the same zone as the dungeon so they cannot use GENERAL) and waiting for a summon, this means 2 people "move their backs" to the summoning stone, is "great". Very socializing, much WoW...
They name it hardcore.... I name it content-less. You want hardcore wotlk? Put mount skills at 40 then 60 with their respective gold increases. Just because you remove some FEATURES doesn't mean you're better or hardcore-ish.... I see this as the incapacity to enable RDF properly atm or just to wait untill 3.3 content as rdf came to patch 3.3. The same way I "believed" their DDOS attacks all over again... it was a masked thing just to blame it on smth due to connections problems! let's be real, every server that is huge gets DDOSed, but by who and why? the mistery remains. I understand that 10k pop is huge and the connection must be flawless especially at the start of the server! Wait, what? You get DDOSed in the first 2-3 days when you release wotlk content BUT not after that? B# please.... there are programs that protect you from DDOS and other connection issues just like other servers has...

Your ignorance, both about the fact RDF is enabled on our other servers, as well as how DDoS attacks or their mitigation even work, doesn't gives you a free pass to try calling us incompetent and liars.Quote:

Everything is unbalanced talking about gear but making a good gear hard to acquire (for the character who will use it) make it more balanced and more rewarding for time spent playing. Just more suitable for a pvp oriented Hardcore realm.
