By any chanse is there reduced XP income from dungeons? I kinda feel that dungeons are useless besides the quests they provide?
I believe that xp is kinda reduced, but I might be wrong :P

You're wrong.
The reason it feels that way is because you are not getting the experience bonus from Random Dungeon Finder.
