Why can't GM's help me?

I have an issue with my discount code that did not work on my purchase and the GM told me that he can't help me...

So basically I got a broken code as a gift... Yay!

I just want to know if it's really that hard to assist me? If it is like impossible to know if I actually had the points I lost (the 5 VP I should have gotten for discount) I understand.

So GM can you please explain to me.

Ingame Gm's cant change the game or the homepage like Developers, so sadly they can't do anything no.
many people have this same problem and they stated on some other forum thread that alot of people have this problem and it's goin to get fixed soon.
But I do feel bad for some of you that got ripped off when using the code.
