Tying up loose ends...

Dear Warmane...

Might I ask what is going on? Suddenly focusing all their time and resources on Lordaeron? I know Deathwing and Ragnaros will get the same core sometime but still... Neglecting 15k players (based on information) for the benefit of 10k players? As spock used to say ''Needs of the many out weight the needs of the few''. It's ok that they want to make one realm really good and so on but come on. I mean on Deathwing on Strand of the Ancients battleground the damn cannons doesn't even work... wtf? Another thing that irritates me and probably a lot of other players is the fact that we can't mount while in other form anymore, which I really like doing (fat red ogre form). And then there is the vote shop... I miss old vote shop where u can get mounts and pets and forms like darkspear pride and gnomeregan pride, now only weapons and armor? This really made me dislike warmane which I've never done before. One last thing that bothers me a lot is the armory (I think it's safe to say that it bothers a lot of people)... a few MONTHS ago I made a post about the armory asking when the ''leaderboards'' (achievements and hk's leaderboard) will return I got the answer ''within two weeks''. That was over 4 months ago and still nothing has been done with the armory. I just ask that just once in a while focus on something other than Lordaeron. I'm looking forward to hearing what u guys have to say and no, I'm not crying, I'm just asking when things will get done.

Yeah, i never understood why they took out the toys/fun items from the coin shop and mounts from the voteshop.

I agree i only play on deathwing but it really feels like all the focus is put on the lorderon realm, i don't think this is a good idea especially seeing as the population of deathwing used to outweigh the one u focus on now

Can't say a date but can say for sure way before people ****ing learn to use search instead of opening threads whining about things that have been answered and explained.

This is how its always been. Soon as they put up a new realm/xpac, **** everything else. When MoP came out, Cata got ignored for the longest time. Now that Lord is out, MoP is ignored despite still being a huge ****ing mess. Now, I stopped playing here a long time ago for a wide variety of reasons but this is just how things go here. Maybe MoP will get some content later in the year but don't expect it to reach a stable state. Hell, Cata still has tons of problems.

Well I'd love to say the answer to most of those questions is pretty obvious, but I guess not completely obvious for everyone.

First off, why should they spread out their staff and thin out their resources to try and get all servers up to date? Seems kind of silly to many when there are still plenty of things that the Cata and MoP servers can use from the WoTLK core and as far as Rag and Deathwing go, why should they waste any resources at all on other WoTLK servers? You've had months and months to reroll and level up on a server that was created to be a 100%, but you wanted to take the easy way out when you've known ahead of time that all their attention was going to be on Lordaeron.

As far as Lordaeron goes, it's better for them to perfect their flag ship and pass that core over then like I said, scatter their resources. On the bright side, when Lord is done they can easilypass that core off to DW and Rag and start to leave WoTLk and completely move on to Cata and with a fully working TBC and WoTLK zones and.... many other parts of the game, it'll make getting Post Cata Vanilla easier to work on and then the 80 to 85 zones right and easily pass that off to MoP and get the MoP zones done.

So ya see, it's all related. It's just going to take some time to get there. They can only do one thing at a time though and it'll all work out in the end. At least this is my take on everything. If i'm wrong let them correct me, but i'm glad their only working on Lord right now. Smart move on their part.

As far as the old VP and CS system, don't forget this is Warmane now, don't completely confuse it with what Molten did. Molten is dead and gone. If you want more items in the CS to spend coins on, maybe make a suggestion thread and be constructive about it. I don't see any harm in adding more novelty items to the CS as long as they don't sell things that actually progress your character.

Anyways OP, I hope my take on things shed some light on things for you, I know I talk like I know what's going on with Warmane, but at the end of the day i'm just a guy that enjoys his time here like everyone else and everything i've said is pure speculation and guessing, I don't work for them, i don't oversee their projects, but I do know for a fact that there has gotta be a reason for their madness, you just gotta take a step back and see they are trying something new to them and trying to get things right one project at a time.

Ty for that reply jkadnsg, with which u made some things clear to me. However I think some people (xBloodySin) maybe don't understand what I want from this post. I don't want stuff on demand, but I just want to know WHEN... The unknown for me is the worst since some staff members said ''new information about the armory will be released within the next two weeks'', which was over 4 months ago. Lots of things gets promised and that's about the last we hear of them. I would just like Warmane staff to give us information as to what will get done when. Just for some peace of mind. Another thing is yea, I know they cant spread their staff over all the realms and expansions and work on all of them at once, but why bite of more than you can chew? Just give us an update Warmane that's basically all that I ask.

Why would they waste time fixing **** on DW and Ragnaros if they're just gonna get Lordaeron core? The sooner the Lordaeron gets fixed -> sooner DW and Rag get fixed since there's no point in fixing stuff on an outdated core which is going to get replaced - it's just a waste of resources.
And then they move on the next expansion + ports to Cata/MoP of WotLK instances.

The shapeshift as ogre etc is same as on retail, you aren't supposed to be able to mount with shapeshifts.
