Son's of Hodir Bugged for me!
So I've been bugged with the chain for the last 2 days and have asked for help from the GM's several times and it's been kind of hit and miss with them, but none the less, I am grateful that they have tried to help me the best they can, but i'm still stuck here with the same problem and feeling worries that there won't be any more fixes to the Son's of Hodir quest line that will help me progress through this. So I figured I'd come here and ask the community if they had any solutions or advice they could give me.
So basically here's what's going on:
I was able to get everything up to "Forging an Alliance" done just fine with just some minor issues here and there, then when I got the "Forging an Alliance" quest I went to talk to King Jokkum in Dun Niffelem and he gave me a quest called "You Can't Miss Him" and that quest sent me to talk to Njormeld over by the Fjorn's Anvil and then Njormeld bugged out on me and wouldn't give me anymore quest even though he had a Gold ! over his head.
Now this is where I did a little research and dug around on WoWhead.com and found out for certain that Njormeld was suppose to give me a quest called, "Battling the Elements", so i put in a ticket to the GM's and finally got a GM to put "Battling the Elements" into my quest log, so all was good right?
Nope! As Njormeld was already bugged for me, so was his buddy Snorri that i'm suppose to interact with and ride on his back to battle the Fire Revenants. So I was left there....again, not able to progress through this chain.
I searched through the Bug Tracker and the information I got said the quest were fixed, but other people seem to have experienced the same thing I am, but as the quest is labeled as "fixed" i'm not sure if the staff will see that it needs to be fixed or something done about it, i went ahead and posted and commented on it and explained what i've experienced, but I still would prefer remaining pro-active to see if I can get this resolved, so does anyone have any solutions or advice for me here? I was thinking about bugging the GM's one more time to see if they could just push me through the quest line as far as they could til i'm friendly with Son's of Hodir and just put these quest behind me, but i don't even know if they can do that or not, so i might try anyways, no harm in asking right?
So anyways, if anyone's got any advice or tips, feel free to leave a post and i'll read up on it for sure and leave my remarks on what worked or didn't work, etc and thank you to everyone for trying to help me through this and if the Son's of Hodir didn't offer the BoA Shoulder Enchants, i sure wouldn't be going to the length I am to try and get this quest line done.
