Returning Lordaeron Player.
I joined molten back in early 2010 only to play their 1x lordaeron server, which I think I spent a considerable amount of time on. I have a few concerns before I jump back on the 'warmane' wagon though. I'm still incredibly salty about the more recent past of this group of servers. Losing my account to some bull that should have never happened in the first place and the feeling of being lied to or censored.
So my question is how do I know that my time investment on this server in its current iteration is worthy after the past injustices?
For me it's hard to believe that this particular wotlk server is any better because it's using the best public wotlk emu DB available atm in which many other wotlk servers use. Back in the day on molten the team said this was working and that was working 100% scripted. But many of the active community members knew that not everything was script 100% and or to wotlk era standards. I don't want to be lied to and told I've found the needle in the hay stack. Finally the barbaric censorship of the past. I for one saw it first hand. Even people who had questions about a mechanic in game being not scripted properly would have their thread purged from existence.
I certainly hope things are different this time around. A mmo is a large time investment. I'm not impressed by large player numbers. What I really want is the accuracy of the era, truth and completeness of the code. After what I saw one will be hard pressed to convince me that this server is an angel now who really wants to make the best wotlk server.
