Two Questions!

1.) Are we lacking a huge base of healer classes both on the alliance and horde on the Blizzard-like server? I've noticed almost no one is a healer, but we have an abundance of tanks and DPS here.

2.) Are players unfamiliar with cooperation or is it that everyone is just greedy on the B-like server? I see almost no low-level dungeon groups, when I do get in one they're a cluster of uncooperative ninjas and haphazard people who want to "tank" or "heal" but aren't speced for it and have never done either before.

I'm really confused as to what's going on here :(.

[Edit] I'd like to say I only found two little low-level parties and both ended the same way; the healer wasn't a healer spec, one of the tanks got really cocky and violent then wiped the party by over aggroing things, quit the party, and spammed us.

Is there anyone out there who just wants to party, to have fun?

Low level dungeons such as RFC, Deadmines, SFK, Stockades, and etc do not require a healer to be in heal spec or really even a tank in tank spec, but personally i can be a bit picky as i at least want my tank carrying a sword and shield, but yeah you're basically dealing with a lot of new generation players and kids at that as this server is free, so anyone can hop on and play and most of these new and youthful players don't have a frack of an idea what they're doing.

Most the time it just comes do to players like me and probably you and other experienced players to help educate newer players on some sort of proper edicate for running dungeons. I don't care if my tanks are always in a tank spec or if healers are always in a heal spec, but by god if you don't really need a piece of gear, THEN DON'T FREAKING ROLL ON IT! Other classes will more then likely get a lot more use out of it then the ***** needing on it. Like hunters needing on intel gear, or feral needing on cloth gear, Enh shamans needing on staffs, etc. This just grinds my gears and there's nothing anyone is going to do about it some times as a lot of players don't speak the same language or at least pretend not to so they can keep needing on loot they don't need.

But yeah, if you really want to make things easier on your self, then just form your own groups and explain loot rules before you really get started as there are a whole bunch of noobies out there. Had my tank the other day running around in cloth and leather intel gear and she said she hated ooming and having to drink all the time.

oh and there's a rainbow at the end of this story, if you keep pressing forward and getting up there in levels, you really won't see this kind of behavior anymore, especially in outlands and northrend. At that level of play most tanks are really in tank spec and healers are really healers and from my experience no one really ninja loots gear that isn't meant for them. The baddies never seem to really make it past the first 30 levels as it takes way to long for them and they either keep rerolling because they can't decide what to play or give up as the game takes to long for them to get up in levels.

Well some classes just can't be healers .

1) Hard to answer that because it depends on luck. Sometimes you see a lot of healers/tanks available, and no dps. Sometimes it's the other way around. Also, I stopped trying to make groups for dungeons and instead started focusing on questing/leveling, because it's a waste of time that you could use for leveling.

2) Very few people do low level dungeons because very few are determined to form a group. You can see a lot of people say "DPS/heal/tank LFG" but few say "LFM to dungeon" because as I mentioned earlier, creating a group is an extra hassle, and people want to play the game instead of spamming global chat.

A lot of players are uneducated to the ways of WOW. I once met a warrior tank in Deadmines. He was geared as tank, speced as tank, but he didn't know how to tank in Deadmines. I tried to guide him through and teaching him what to do, but he ignored every single advice I gave. In the end I just snapped and said that he was an !diot, he left group and we never found a replacement.
Things like this even further discourages players to do dungeons.

After I started focusing more on questing/leveling, I noticed that a lot of friendly and fun people run around the world doing quests.
So, my suggestion is to just go out there and go level. Group up with people you meet and help each other. Once you meet many people and your levels are similar, you can start forming your own awesome Avengers team.

I don't think Gwola meant that when talking about healers. Sure all classes can heal, but not all classes can be healers, as in, sign up for the role of healing in a raid, dungeon, PvP, etc.

1.There are no low lvl healers, because RDF is disabled, so noone wants to lvl as a healer in solomode. From 40 onwards u'll start seeing more healers cos of dual spec.
2.Most people are "noobs" in most realms anyway :)

Then the solution is simple, lower the cost of Duel Spec. 100g would be more then fair and really wouldn't change that Blizz-like experience.

A lot of low levels just ask for the higher levels to boost them, usually one from guild, or a close friend. I ran Snow voluntarily since we always hang out together.

But this kind of behavior needs to stop.
