Emblems of Valor as rewards for 10man content.

Hi, i am playing with an IRL guild with about 16 members, 10 level 80.
We just started raiding Naxx 10man and i love that it is hard and not the cake walk it was in retail.
The thing I'm struggling with is that the reward for downing these quite hard bosses for a casual guild is not worth the effort it takes. Since the HC and Heroism items have the same ilvl there are just a few items that will make you feel more powerful in the 10 man content. So for Guilds who dont have the people to do 25man it would be nice to atleast get some Emblems of Valor of the bosses so you can get some 213 ivl pieces more quickly then one in every 20-30 days. I dont know if this has been brought up before but thats just an idea for the guilds with lesser playerbase.

I also think that naxx ten should currently award emblems of valor because of the custom difficulty added. Its much harder than the 25 man and for small guilds that dont have the people to raid 25 its pretty hard to down those bosses with 3,4-3,6k gs. I think that given the fact that the devs have changed the difficulty of these bosses they can make them award valor too. Nice thought pal

Its not like its hard to find players to recruit...
If you take all the available gear from the dungeons, reputation vendors and emblems of heroism vendors, you will have like 3.7-3.8 gs. its more than enough to clear Naxx10.
On the other hand if you don't have the time to farm all of the above, you can always buy the gear from the coin shop.

naxx 10 is not suppose to give you emblem of valor thats from 25m and its use to next tier items.i am sry if you feel like its too hard to get them but at the end just because you cant do something dont mean they have to give you items for free.i can say same for elite PVP weapons "its too hard to get my 3s rating cant find a team pls let me have my elite weapon with 2s rating only".this is not how this work.

It does infact work like that for the current and the next seasons.

Well thats kind of the problem imo, that when you have 3.7-3.8k GS its still quite difficult for a guild with casual players to clear Naxx 10man atm. And the rewards from doing so, wont see you go far past 3.8k GS so it wont get much easier after getting a few loots since they're not that much better then the HC, Heroism loots crafts etc. Except 4set bonuses and trinkets if you are lucky enoght to get them. The point im making is that with every kill of a boss you are used to get a bit stronger until you got all the loot you can get from the instance, then the next one comes out and rince and repeat.

With full item lvl 200 epics you reach 3,7k gs or something and thats ok to clear Naxx10 if all the members of your guild are like that. But i dont understand why you think its not ok for Naxx10 to give the same emblem reward as the 25man since its even harder than it. The fact that you are a member of a big guild doesnt mean that small guilds have to suffer and anyway since naxx10 isnt going to get a nerf as it seems i dont seem to understand the reason you are negative about it giving better emblems cause currently there is no reason except from kel thuzad and sapphiroth to clear naxx10.

The thing is that you are asking for free stuff...yes upscaling the emblems is free stuff....

I don't understand the whole thing "small guilds has to suffer"....just recruit some ppl and jump into the 25mans.

First you are saying that there is no point doing naxx10 cause it has nothing to offer, then you say that you are not interested at doing naxx25 either cause your guild is small....

The way i see it is that you are asking to get 25man items for doing the 10man version....

A) It's a stupid idea.

B) that same loot will become available with Ulduars release on the store.

I'm sorry but I guess you missed the point, before this "snowy" banner, the banner was set as : Lordaeron THE ULTIMATE HARDCORE WOTLK (or something like that), did you see "Hardcore" ? I guess it is hardcore then... you joined an hardcore server you deal with it . If you want retail naxx join other wotlk realm? Warmane has 2 more, and like you said, you are casual , so it wouldn't take long to level / gear up.

There's nothing "hardcore" about poor reward structures.

I'm not saying the boss ought to drop badges for 213 gear on 10-man, I'm just saying that "hardcore" isn't a justification for what you're talking about.

If you are talking about reward...Back in TBC before nerfs and everything Shattered Halls Heroic (5 man dungeon for those who don't know and you needed to DO it for attunement otherwise no SSC / The eye) was harder than most bosses in Karazhan, so basicly it's the same thing now, how can a 5 man give less rewards than a 10 man ? It's the challenge, period. 10-man requires flawless execution even though rewards are no so "rewarding" for the challenge at hand... but it's life... DEAL with it ... I needed some meme here...

10 man content here is harder than 25 (bosses having 25m retail hp, grobbulus hitting for same amount in 10 and 25, anub the same), it should give badges.

Personally I'm against having 10 man drop valor emblems, but the sad thing is that 10 man gear is harder to obtain than the 25 man.
