Help for destruction PvE

Hey guys, I just hit 80 on my warlock, Im destro for now, and I am a little disturbed by this guide:

The guide says that Imp can give u instant Soul Fires. Well, my Imp doesnt do that. Any tips ?

Might have something to do with you looking at a Cata guide while playing wotlk?
