After downloading 3.3.5a -- Now what?

Hello,
I've dug around for about 6 hours and I can't find a solution. My problem is that I have downloaded the client from the warmane.com link for 3.3.5a (no install)

After, I run the WoW.exe that is within the downloaded ~16gb of data.

I enter in my warmane.com username and password and it tells me that I am unable to connect. My internet connection is stable, and with another, separate WotLK client I am able to connect to warmane, however everything is buggy and assets are missing. I also made sure to include the appropriate set realmlist logon.warmane.com information in my WTF config file and realmlist file.

I'd like to connect with the warmane provided 3.3.5a client. Any suggestions? I am running as admin and I have no blocking ports on my router.

Make sure \Data\enUS\realmlist.wtf is pointing to logon.warmane.com

Thanks for your reply. I've ensured that the realm list has the appropriate destination.

Any other ideas? I want to get up and running :(

use google DNS, can you provide a screenshot of the Error message?

I recently got to work but I can provide a screen shot in a bit. The Google DNS I have not tried. How would I go about doing that?

Hello. I have attempted to log in and now I get a message that says Login Server Down.

I decided to just remove my WotLK downloads and start fresh. I had two different folders for two clients, so I'm going to start fresh and see if I run into the same problems.

Solved the problem.
Deleted all previous clients I had of 3.3.5a
Download new torrent from warmane (the new texture pack for WotLK specifically)
Edited realm list from ***.ru to ***.com
Created short cut to desktop of Wow.exe
Opened short cut
Logged in using warmane username / password
Success

See you in game :)
