Blood DPS without Deathrunes
First off: Due to recent fixes in the blood talent tree and deathknights overall. This is NOT the best dps spec.
however its is great to use when solo'ing older or harder content. i.e. Blackwing lair.
Some of you might still think blood enrages bosses, or is bugged. well it no longer is.
actually it currently is one of the higher melee dps spec's and when fully fixed it should be Top mdps depending on playstyle and or fight. more of that can be found in the other blood dps guides
I will show you the basic talents + rotation + (my personal considered) BiS Gear.

The reason, i spend 3 points in "Improved Rune Tap":
is the improved survival and thus making it quite usefull during solo'ing

A Blood Dps Death Knight needs 90% Arp from her gear.
You will always make sure, you have 8% hit rating AND work as fast as possible towards 1260 (90%) arp,
(my reccomendation go strenght at first and make the change to arp when you have ~1000 arp from your gear.
Why do i use so many items with hitrating (wrists, feet and hands)?
So you will save more sockets for arp/strenght, use these items,
and you will end up with alot more strenght then when you take their alternative options.
Dont worry about your expertise, when you have your heroic T10 legs + the heroic neck, you'll have enough. (If you use different gear you need atleast 26)
if you feel like adjusting your gems/enchants for DBW, in difference with many other classes, The Crit proc has alot of benefit just as the more common Strenght proc.
Rotation
Here comes the different part.
Blood dk dps (without deathrunes) mainly consists from 3 phases:
-----Phase 1 (start phase)
Icy touch + Plague strike (to apply diseases: Frost fever and blood plague)
1x "Death strike"
2x "Heart Strike"
-----Phase 2 (refresh phase)
2x "Death strike"
1x "Heart Strike"
1x "Pestilence"
-----Phase 3 (dps Phase)
2x "Death Strike"
2x "Heart Strike"
For your burst, you will use:
Dancing Rune weapon + Hysteria
easy 1 button/2 click macro:

/Cast hysteria
