Considering a server with over 15k people on it at the time it was shutdown, it wouldnt be going backwards infact its a massive opportunity for Profit.

Seeing how successful nostalrius was with making a barebones non profitable Vanilla server, i would say Warmane can even be more successful. Heck, even looking at the 1x Warmanes huge server, you can tell how many ppl want the retail like expierience from the older expansions.Quote:

I take it you're not suggesting a 1x TBC server with stupidly high donation costs and donation limitations for the first year or more or you won't be getting donations for ****, just like Lordaeron gets no donations for ****.Quote:

Warmane staff already said that there won't be TBC or Vanilla servers.
Quite a shame really. Seeing how unpopular MoP, Cata or WoD is in Warmane or retail servers. And many ppl would love to see a quality retail like Vanilla or BC. Atleast we have WotLK retail like and im quite happy with what they did. Also explains how popular the 1x server is.Quote:

Why do such thread are even open? Warmane clearly stated that they don't want so "old" expansion like tbc or vannila,+wotlk is ofc best and most succeful.
If public I'd rather they use it to fix broken pre-Burning Crusade quests and mobs rather than out right make a Vanilla server. Not only does Warmane have no intention of making a Vanilla or Burning Crusade server at this time, but part of the appeal of that private server was the realm design, which is not something Warmane does (no shops and x1 rate, save for Lordaeron on the latter).Quote:
