so what is the best expansion u think for both pve and pvp (lk vs cata vs mop) ?
from ones you menttioned if going by pvp and pve only id say wotlk, if also include questing, then either wotlk or mists (if wod was an option, also that)
I am not a very objective source on this matter, i have played 1 expansion on 1 server, so yea i like WotLK the most
There is 1 good part tho in never playing anywhere else by here and it is that almost all but the most obvious bugs remain unnoticed for me, since i've learned the game with those bugs and they are like the standard for me so i guess if i you put me in retail wotlk server i will be complaining it is buggy and not warmane like
Cata > MoP > WoTLK > WoD > BC
Wrath Of The Lich King,is the best expansion i played and still playing it.
definitely wotlk. tried cata and mop, cata was decent but lack of content at the time made me leave. MOP was just to jammed with crappy asian theming.

LikeDwind, you should learn the retail ways too. It's kind of annoying nowadays when I have to teach people tactics since they're all used to abusing & exploiting Warmane bugs to a point where they don't even look at them as bugs.
As a Rogue i personally enjoyed Cataclysm a lot more then other expansions. WotLK as a Rogue is pretty nice as well.
Definitely Wrath. The whole Lich king persona is the most interesting thing I've found in WoW.
For me it was Wrath of the Lich King.
I've played since vanilla but I was very young back then and didn't get to experience every factor of the game. But in wrath I was old enough to actually enjoy the questing, raiding and the other aspects of the game. From then it just went downhill in my opinion. Played a bit in Cataclysm, a little bit in MoP and for a few months in WoD, but I never got to relive what I did I wrath in terms of exploring and feeling like I was a part of a living world.
As a DK, Cata and WOD are my favourites.
As an Ele Shaman, WOP and WOD.

I can't believe people are actually saying WoD or MoP are the best expansions they played... i guess not everyone played TBC and Wrath ... or weren't born then
Here we go again. I played late TBC, quit for some time then came back to wrath. And MoP for me is the best expansion, pvp wise and lore wise. Stop ****ting on other peoples opinions. MoP had bad rep beacuse of pandarens. Many asocciated that with kung fu panda (gj). Wrath and TBC was endless grind, nothing fun about that. And the spell ranks. So useless. I think people only like these old exp beacuse of nostalgia, because they cant let go and move the **** on.

And DK wasn't the greatest tank within the game. Don't even get me started on how horrible PvP was for Dks regardless of spec. We had one of the lower class representations within the ladder, we no survivability, mediocre damage thanks to being forced into playing defensive..
WOD: WOD DK is brilliant, back to the cata hayday. DKs are one of the most sort after PvP and PvE classes ingame. Our DPS while not being as brilliant as the likes of Mages/Warriors/Boomkins can still hold it's own regardless of if you play Frost or Unholy. We're a required class on a lot of fights (Xhul Mythic for example is practically impossible without a DK). And for PvP, one of the strongest and currently fair representation is DW Frost. We're slightly more tanking, we have brilliant damage and overall a lot stronger.
This is what I look at when judging a expansion, how fun and how well my class proforms is a major thing, isn't it for everyone? I mean why would it matter the content if you hate the way your class plays, if you have to reroll just to PvP or if you find yourself not wanted within raids because you bring nothing that another class can do better?
Quit with the "we hate MOP/WOD" bandwagon bull**** and calling those of us with a different opinion to you "kids"
