Hi there,
While playing solo i see the xp gain is x5 the normal rate. However, if i party up with someone of a similar level the xp gained from killing mobs falls to around 20% of what i would have gotten if i were playing solo.
Is this by design or should i be seeing 50% or more while partied with another player?
Well the level of the player could be a factor, but honestly a lot of things need to be considered. However, it is not designed this way, 20% sounds too low.
Would it help if I did some testing and got a screenshot or two to prove it?
I only ask as i was very much hoping to level up with a friend I've not played wow with for years, the low xp made it more efficient to play alone :(
Sure. If the results match with what you are saying, make a bug report on the bugtracker with the information.
