exploit abusers!

Isnt there any way to raise the ban penalty to PERMANENT!..i mean seriously..the past few days all i see is 7 days ban..and a 2 day ban..Like seriously.. 2 days!? Most, if not all players know what is legal and illegal ... Exploiting and using other means of software to fly around the continent stealing everything and anything there is to get.
this is getting ridiculous..at peak hours there's usually a crap ton of people flying around especially in Timeless isle..i cant even bruh.... Arent Gm or Mods online in Frostwolf to maintain the balance..
Please! take the time to re-think the penalty of ban... Frostwolf is breeding to many abusers and exploiters..

I agree, all those people should be permanently banned.

Theres also a bug that changes a players speed and causes them to fly as well, mainly out of BGs, so we can't be quick without knowing. If done in BG it is 100% for a fact the player is hacking because they're speed is, if not hinder by buff, is abnormally fast and or they can TP or fly. As for the bug itself, people exploit it ever since it began on 5.4.8.

I haven't seen anyone expect prottrean and skybro on frostwolf, kear wolf logged but that was months ago. Just observe and make ticket.

i have made loads of tickets...i know proterian logs every now and then... i have observed since they removed the anti-cheat..since Stormstout.. What i want is..making the bans Longer...the the post above you said.. 1-3 months..after that a perma ban..Its unbelievable .. have you gone to Timeless isle during peak hours? i doubt you will get a tag on any of the rare mobs..if you do then you're one of the lucky few :)

I haven't went on the island yet but I do know people will use ghost bug just to travel to and use on timeless isle. I'm more of a PVE kinda guy. But with that in mind, people using exploits to use in that zone, it is an unfair advantage.

I'm not reporting anymore for 2 days ban. Now adding to bugs, the realm will be filled with flying players.
We asked for increased ban duration and they gave us the exact opposite.

I see a lot of people flying in Timeless Isle as well. What's sad is they don't even try to hide it. I don't normally record and report people though unless it's in a battleground or arena. I've got quite a stack of video reports already though:

--and every single one of them have gotten a reply from a GM within 24 hours. It helps if you make the video as short as possible. It will upload faster and allow the GM to get right to the point without wading through unnecessary footage. Recording a cheater using third party tools is almost always very obvious on video and it's very easy to identify and confirm the person doing it.

As for the duration of bans, they seem to vary depending on the player's standing. It depends on the severity of the offense and how many times they've been banned for it before already. If a person is being banned for the first time it might be for 7 days. If they get banned for the same thing again it will likely be 30 days. 2 day bans are likely for minor things like glitching transmogs, hence why the ban message on the server for 2-day bans specifically mention "CE" in them.

Permanently banning all cheaters sounds great on paper, but would be extremely detrimental to the server's population. I seem to recall whenever Sentinel AntiCheat was first introduced on both Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm Frostwolf-- there would literally be hundreds of players banned in only a few hours. Warmane, then known as Molten WoW, did not anticipate so many people being banned, so they had to reduce the penalty for being caught cheating lest the server become a ghost town. It's all very sad. Nobody wants to deal with cheaters, but because of the ease of use and accessibility of these cheats, banning all of the people who use them forever would mean an empty server.

It's all about money, and not what players want.

If they would implement a system where you get rewarded after reporting an exploit people wouldnt abuse this much, but the problem with that is that those reports would require a "quick fix", but lets be honest, quick and fixes on MoP don't go together in the same sentence, probably not even in the same book.

Rather have an empty server (which it won't be) than have it be full of cheater scum.

You don't ban the players, you ban accounts. No admin in its right mind would decide to IP ban (which isn't efficient either) for cheating.

You know that facebook, google, etc reward people with money when they find a glitch in their systems, why wouldnt this work here, lets say you get 10 coins whenever you find a exploit and report it, how would that be dumb...
