I think you have to buy an item from the marketplace, so i don't think name change counts.
All services and items worth 5 coins or more give the queue skip. There have been issues with the queue skip feature lately, message a moderator and they can figure something out for you.Quote:

What this means is:
You had 7 coins from a refund, restore gift (25coins, post-moltdown) or otherwise
You used 5 of those coins on lordaeron
You donated for 10 coins.
You have 12 coins now.
You must be premium prior to the purchase of anything that is 5 coins, or it won't work.
