Faction Change info request

Guys I am not sure if I am posting this in the right section but I seem to be lost and unable to obtain concrete information.
I wanted to know if Faction change is available on Lardaeron and how it works. I see it's available on the "services" tab of my account but I can't find info on if it works on our realm or not. If someone can also explain the mechanics of it; eg. does it let me pick a race and what doesn't and does carry on after the change would be amazing!

Yes it works. It functions the same as retail.
