Why are bots only banned for 10 days ?

And why not permaban these asshats ?
Today, my first steps in Outland's Zangarmarsh .. ahh what a thrill ! Memories and stuff !
Oh the horrid droprate of the Bog Lords' and Hydra's samples !

And THE MOTHEREFFIN' RAID OF BLOOD ELVES PALADINS 67+ .. that wasn't very present "back then" .. what the hell ?

Why is this allowed to just have .. really, i mean it, 20+ blood elves paladins named like Aodabtbfter or Ghhsrlkgsrt and whatnot by the DOZENS roaming around the nagas constantly ? Okay, easy honor .. but why do you only ban them 10 days ?
And why does it takes 6+ HOURS of GM ticket to report someone ?

Get me a Sheriff badge already, i'm taking care of it effective immediately :(

First off, I don't think ban durations are up to discussion on forums. If you want to suggest something about them, msg Aldtharios directly.
Also, there are 9 (according to forums) game masters across 7 realms, and they are all human. So I believe its not hard to immagine there isnt a gm on 24/7.

I have reported so many bots that I am tired of doing it. Especially if they get unbanned 10 days later and continue to bot. Bots should be Ip banned immediately. They are ruining the economy.

While I sympathize with you on BOTTING, please make sure to be clear on the difference between that and MULTIBOXING.

Multiboxing is completely legal. What you're describing might also fit the description of a multiboxer--someone controlling 20+ blood elf paladins all similarily named and running around killing everything. Not saying that you are wrong and that was indeed a multiboxer, but just putting it out there that multiboxing and botting do get mixed up.
