Computer selection!

So, hey everyone,
I'm planning on starting playing here but the first problem that comes to my mind is I don't have a computer :$...So I was searching around for portable computers so that I can order online and I have an idea of what's going on in the market atm but I would really like to have some more opinions on the topic. This thread is for those who have knowledge of computers or even those that are really happy with the one they got and would recommend it :)
I'm really tight on budget so every dollar counts but I'm willing to give up to 800 euros max.
Sorry for having you to write down all these things but you could make me really happy if you gave me information as I'm more or less ignorant of whats good and what not in technology!
Give me pros and cons please! I will he grateful!
*As a sidenote I would also like to buy a gaming mouse so I'd like your opinion on that one as well:)

I can only recommend desktop PC which you can get for ~500 euros if you build it yourself:

CPU: FX-6300
Cooler: CM 212 EVO
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-78LMT
GPU: EVGA GTX 960
PSU: EVGA 500W
Crucial 8GB Ram
Seagate 1TB Hard Drive
+ any case you want, for example Raidmax Vortex

Wow only 500 euros ? But of course then I would have to get sound boards , screen, keyboard etc.
+ I think I will have trouble building all this up since I'm 16! Well **** :3

What are you looking for? Laptop or Desktop? (you have to buy a monitor, if you're thinking of buying a desktop, don't forget that)

Do you need to buy it now, or can you wait? (New GPU's are about to be launched really soon)

What will you be using it for? Only Wow?

Mouse -> Not sure I can help you with it, But I've heard good feedback about the Rival series...

Uhm sorry if I wasn't too straightforward...I'm gonna opt for a laptop as I'm going to uni in a while so I'm gonna need it more. This also means that I will surely it for work and not only for gaming (WoW/LoL). To be honest I was thinking of ordering it later today...so it's like a last minute decision but I'm really searching everywhere...
The thing is 4 friends are starting on lordaeron this Monday and I really wanted to start along with them :S I guess not :/

If you want a really good performing DESKTOP PC and you are on a budged, or if you want a high end build which will last you at least 6-8 years of ultra settings gaming on max fps, you can PM me.
A friend of mine wanted me to build him a PC with a 250 euros budged and he loves it.
A few days ago i went to his house and did a 40 euros RAM upgrade from 8 to 16 GB because he wanted to do really heavy video editing and rendering + he had extra cash.
Currently the PC can run:
CS:GO at max settings with 80-90 FPS
Dota 2 at max settings with 90-100 FPS
League of legends at max settings with 120+ FPS
WoW at ultra settings with 85 FPS
Arma 3 at max settings with 60-65 FPS
Crisis 3 at max settings with 60-65 FPS
And last but not least Dark Souls 3 at high settings with 60 fps for some reason.
This leaves us with a budged of 290 euros for a god damn epic PC.
Note that he had a case from his old PC.

You really have me interested right now! Sounds like a pain in the *** to make all this but you really do save up so much money? And the performances sound keel tho I'd say kinda suspicious. But since I can give 800 euros for pc and you say you can make one godlike pc with only 300 euros.meh! I don't know what to think now. Guess I'd love to have 400 euros spared for vacations :/

Alright... About the "work" you're talking about, what kind of programs will you use?

I'd look for a Clevo N150RF with the Nvidia's GTX 965M GPU, I'm sure you'll find a good store that sells Clevos.

Hugolich thanks for all the info :) the work is not going to be some kind of hardcore video editing :p I think a pc that plays wow on good fps will be able to do the "work"I will have to do ×_× This Clevo I've never heard before to be honest and it seems kind of over my budget for the time being :/

I really wouldn't buy a laptop unless its an absolute only thing you can get.

a Desktop will allow you so much flexibility and overall a lot cheaper for the hardware and the gain you'd get from being to upgrade.

Pretty sure the PC I'm using atm could be build for about 500 euros.
I exchanged my R9 270 for a 750TI, because PP doesnt have the 200 series with prices, so the 750TI is a decent card too (Same clock speed and VRAM).
But the specs of the PC are the same as what I'm running atm and even after destroying my GPU you should even be able to play the current generation games (2016).

Also I noticed that people above are giving you a older CPU.... This I've linked uses a 8Core, albiet a cheaper and slightly GPU but something thats still nice and strong. End of the day its easier to upgrade your GPU than your chip so spend more on your chip.

Otherwise that dell inspiron should be good enough

So another fast question as far as the CPU is concerned. I heard FX-6300 and FX-8320. On reviews they sau they are not much different and many say I should opt for Intel i5..?!?!
Also could someone explain the term overclocking? What is it and why and how someone should do it?

Also, all of these CPUs need a Cooler right?

-What contains a motherboard, from what I heard it's what determines your BIOS programme and where you put some stuff like RAM.Is it any other real difference between lets say Gigabyte GA-78LMT and ASUS M5A97 LE R2.0ATX or 990 fx chipsets you guys were talking about above?
- Someone could explain the PSU(something abut power? But I guess I'll go for the EVGA 500 watt since all if you recommend it!
-Another thing is the gard drive, so everyone says SSD is undeniably the fastest one out there, is there and other option for gaming?

Yes, CPU needs something to cool it (if "BOX" is written on CPU case it comes with a cooler, if it doesn't and packing is really slim it doesn't have a cooler)
Well, Motherboards are more less the same, what is different how many sloots they have and some features. More expensive motherboards tend to have more RAM/USB/SATA/PCI(the slot where GPU goes)... What you need to pay attention when buying a motherboard is that it has the slot that CPU required. Each CPU (generation) has its own kind of slot.
PSU or Power Supply unit, now you mustn't go cheap on it, for a regular mid-end PC I would suggest 500/600+ W (Wattage required depends on what components you buy : CPU/GPU...) AMD component tend to be cheaper when you buy, but draw more power.
SSD is good if you want faster boot and loading times, you basically load thing faster with it, other than that serves the same purpose as HDD.
RAM - now that there is new generation, you have to pay attention which one your motherboard supports, DDR3 or DDR4. It does not matter if you buy 2x4GB or 8GB (as long as you have slots to put them in lol)
GPU - since you want to play games, you want to spend the most of your budget on GPU, now this is where it gets a bit delicate and price is not the thing that shows how good it preforms. You need to do some research on this.
You can't combine some parts due to different slots. CPU and Motherboard go in pairs.
