So the prices atm are incredibly inflated on all realms, especially Lordearon... I may have missed the thread, but are there any future plans on reducing the minimum set price for trading the character or removing the minimum set price entirely on Lordearon?
No, there aren't. The costs are determined by the Marketplace prices of all the items and other things in the character (with a discount that already makes it cheaper than buying all items and features individually) and that's how it will remain.
