Im at the end of that quest too. Cant give it at the mob. Its in grey interrogation. Fix that issue, plz.
Make sure you talk to Sassy Hardwrench (npcID 34668) when you take the quest. There will be a dialogue button to take you to the ship. The quest can only be turned in if you go there by using this, not by going on foot
