If u read about it on wowhead , you are not supposed to use it on the Timeless (insert armor here) Cache, it should only work on a item like an timeless armor item like the 496 drops from boxes and also should not work on trinket boxes. So the real question im asking , has anny1 tryed to use it on one of these items http://us.battle.net/wow/en/item/102273 ?
sure, it is fine, you can also further upgrade the items using the vp without any problems :)
