Lordaeron to Cata?

Hello pals, how it going? I would like to know if the realm someday will be updated to cata, i think it will be really cool. A hug nice hunt :)

Or maybe never? If they open a separate blizzlike cata realm, then yes, but upgrading lordaeron to cata is a big NO! Lordaeron is like the signature realm of warmane... it always has been.

Only that, recently i haven't seen them updating their signature much or at all... and there are still some small bugs that are irritating on Lord

Yes please. They should keep this server open for those that do not wish to proceed to Cataclysm though.

Lordaeron was like the signature realm of warmane, but never was. Now Icecrown is the signature realm of warmane. With that being said, Lordaeron to Cata is a better idea.

False. Our "flagship" isn't determined by population.
@Thread, upgrading to Cataclysm is a terrible idea. The idea screws over anyone who wants to continue to play Lordaeron on Wrath of the Lich King. If you want to play Cataclysm that much, we have a server for that. I'm sure they'd love an increase in population.

There is absolutely no point in starting playing where everyone is already farming T13hc. It just totally "kills" the whole expansion, as soon as a new player reaches 85 only a few heroics and you can start doing Dragon Soul. No previous-tier raids. Lordaeron had popularity because players wanted to progress again, to have a real experience (even with increased difficulty). If some of them want to play on Cataclysm after Halion being released here, they will look for a similar experience, and they'll just leave if they manage to find one.

No matter what your personal opinion is, this thread is regarding upgrading Lordaeron to a different expansion, which isn't anywhere in our plans.

Then I would say wait for us to finish our work on WotLK and see if we happen to do something similar for Cataclysm in the future.

That's completely irrelevant to the subject at hand, now isn't it?

I would hope it never updates to Cata. I literally only joined this and donated because WoTLK is still my favorite expansion.
