The loss of my dear 5.9kgs mage

Hi!

Before the server got wiped, I had a mage that I spent I don't know how many 100+ hours on. On that mage I had numerous important achivments, mounts, alot of gold and gear. I was so proud over my own achivments throughout the game (nothing was donated, only my mainwep). The feeling of all hours just gone that I've actually spent on this character was heartbreaking. Do you know the feeling when you are doing a homework and haven't saved it and it crashes and everything just goes out the window? This is the feeling I'm feeling now, exept it's 100+ hours and 100+ that was so fun.

When I heard the news of the server crashing I got so mad. Not at the staff nor the server itself, but at the situation. I knew everything was lost. My dear mage was gone... I got so mad at that situation that for the coins I recieved, I made a new account and bought random characters on different servers and didn't gear a single one of them with even decent gear. Just straight up lvled them up and left the game. It was stupid of me not making a new mage ofc. You live you learn I guess. But is there any way that I can get my mage back, even if i dont think so, please respond to me.

That ship has sailed. You can't get your mage back because it doesn't exist anymore, all data was lost. You got your coins and you did not spend them wisely. Instead of spending them on your new mage to get some gear you've lost, you used them on random characters you don't even enjoy playing (I guess), and now you feel bad. That's the conclusion. You feel bad after making poor decisions.

Instead, I would advise you to switch from remorse to fresh start. That'll make you feel better.

I (and thousands of us) know how it feels.

I lost my Blackforge, a dwarf paladin and my sole PvE toon. He did some great things before the old server closed, such as donating all his gold to randoms and helping lowbies gear up for end-game raids. The achievements and pwning were up for grabs but it was helping others that motivated him more. He didn't complain with the bum community (old Lordaeron) he was win and, instead, made something out of nothing. The way I'm talking about him right now... I definitely lost a friend.

Moltdown (as well as the recent Nostalrius crash) really taught me the value of treating other players well and making moments worthwhile. The gear and achievements are just stepping stones. Stuff like this transcend gaming beyond an ego-stroker and I hope y'all understand it one day.

If only this was a game :(

I lost a full BiS on all specs PvP/PvE paladin, I feel you. Lolmourne you shall be missed.
