New and need some help for picking class.

After Nost was killed by blizz, i have not played wow.

Me and some friends thinking about warmane.

I have one little question. I have always played a tank(war), but now i wanna try some dps.
What class is a safe choice if i want to get a group or guild as dps?

In order to answer your question, I have to counter with a few to get information. My recommendations will completely depend on the style of DPS you want to be causing and the play options you prefer. Are you interested in ranged DPS or Melee? How durable do you want to be? Do you want the option of offspec choice tank, heal or have an alternate DPS style?

As far as a safe choice, all DPS is DPS in my opinion. Its all about the versatility of the character you are going to play. The most important thing about your toon will be if it fits your play style.
