I started playing here, but I'm a bit scared of something. Like every MMO, it needs content and Wotlk for sure has it, but what will happen when I get to lvl 80, max my gear BIS (I never raided so it will be for sure a long and hard road for me)? I'm scared of not having things to do when I get a max. What people do when they max out? ATM I'm fresh and lvl 10, so there is still a long time till raids, but that day will come.
start a new char of a different class. there's lots of repeat value in mmo's with mutliple classes.
That's a thing that will happen sooner or later. You'll get bored of the content offered by WOTLK however don't forget you always have new expansions to try out. Warmane offers Cataclysm and Mists of Pandaria as well; Keep in mind they don't work as well as WOTLK content though.Quote:

Thats pretty neat mag, i can totally relate. although i never played WOTLK before since i started retail again during WoD.
so im looking forward to forming a guild and working my way through all the end game content. Also, like you stated mag, im going to try to master all the classes i really never had the time to play before, ive made 3 druids and 4 pallies throughout my wow career, time to try some mages, warlocks or get more in depth with a char ive played but havent mastered before, like warrior and hunter.
But as for the OP when you first hit max level try to find a guild that is organized enough to keep you busy with group quests or gearing for and doing dungeons. its a good way to learn and progress at the same time.
There are million classes and most of them have completely different gameplay pvp/pve wise.
@OP I have full bis hc pala in all 3 pve specs, got lod, bane and halion25hc and I still have a lot of fun raiding. I'm not raiding cus of gear, but simply because I like wotlk raids.
Try to get all achievements...
Simple, just start PvPing. It never gets boring, always has its moments. Raids lost their fun for me after a while.

It will take you quite a long time to get bis in pve if you are new, so don't worry, and when you do and you truly do get bored, try another class or go gear for pvp then, or try achievs, there's always something to do in WOW. Another option is a small break of a few months or half a year, I often take these when I get bored of the game.
There will always be some content that you might prefer more than others, or maybe you will join some great guild who will always have new flood of members in need of raids and gearing, and you will be more than useful then to fill up raid as experienced one and as for help. If you even reach "the end", or BiS gear for your character soon, you can turn to achievements (like low lvl dungeons you haven't completed or like so), that will take you almost equal time as getting BiS gear.Quote:

Absolutely no need for worries, you won't be bored if you like the game and have time. There is always Dalaran here, where you can AFK like 60% of end-game players! :))
