It needs to be reinstalled or replaced, i had that issue and it just happens out of the blue, although very rarely. What i did was to copy over a new data folder from my backup wow directory over the damaged main folder so i avoided reinstalling everything, The torrent available for download here has it already uncompressed, so you can use that to replace the old damaged data folder or just the file.
