Client not starting up?

Hi! I just downloaded the client, and no matter what i do it wont open. I downloaded the normal version not the minimal one, is the client itself bugged or whats going on?

Edit: Im not on MAC so that cant be it.

Edit2: I was able to fix it by doing this: http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=315323 (skullbashat's response worked) but sometimes i still have to make it so its not read only or something.

Can you check in task manager that wow.exe already running? If yes sometime the client can take like few mins (10+) till it load.
