Can you please help me? (Beginner)

Hey guys,

sooo, I just registered and downloaded the game. This is actually the first time that I am going to play WoW. THe only MMORPG I played was LastChaos, but that was many years ago ^^.

What I wanted to ask if you could give me tips or recommend me a guide that could help me ^^. Or shall I just hop into the game? Im quite excited :)

Also, I downloaded the WotLK client and wanted to ask if I should play on Lordaeron or Icecrown. Icecrown is apparently more populated.

EDIT: Forget to add: The reason wanting to playing this now is that I got bored of LoL and wanted to play an MMORPG again, as all the other F2P MMORPGS have too big downloads or limited things, I decided to try WoW for the first time, private server because it doesnt cost anything. Again, thanks for reading and helping me :)

but coming in from something like LoL , you should find it a easy..

now.. as for the the question of Lord or icecrown.. if this is your first WoW experience.. i would suggest you go to lorderon first.. that would give you more time to learn about the game and whatever faction and class you choose. after you hit atleast one character to 80 .. or even 60 their.. you can move into ice crown..

reason being.. lorderon gives out x1 exp.. so you have time to learn your tactics and enjoy the quest-line and your class. or even try our different classes and master them with sufficient amount of time per level.

icecrown gives you x7 exp.. hence.. you will level up faster. and will out level the zone you are in quickly..

in short.. if you want to just hit 80 quickly.. ice crown.. if you want to learn the game and enjoy questing and understand the story line better.. go lord.

and yeah.. this server does cost you in two ways..

once when you want to get out of those long ques by donating..

and then by those allys / hordes who will kill you just for the fun of it.
