Don't you love it how when some change is posted, and the players not only reply with a dozen pages of "NO" but with a dozen pages of "HELL NO!", and when the thread starter finally reads enough they lock the thread with a giant "We hear you fam, but we don't really care what you think."?

imo the amount of replies they got should give them a decent idea of what the players think of it. most we can do is hope they reconsider. honestly i can live with the gold smush, wep/rep rates, only thing that bugs me is the proff rate change.
This thread won't be deleted but it will be closed. The other one was closed because we received sufficient feedback on it and hear quite clearly what is the current opinion of forum-going users.
We also see things in a bit more in-depth way, you could say that we can see the bigger picture and the actual effects it will have on the realm. To be rather honest, leveling a profession is easy, doing reputations, especially the WoTLK ones was always easy. The changes are not as big as some may think but will be meaningful for the overall progress of the realm.
We did add that we have a gracious period of announcement, leaving 2 months to add up your professions if you so desire using these rates, which if we might add takes less than 30 minutes if you're well equipped and prepared. This means if you have any future plans and these rates are awfully important, you can level up more than 30 characters with your own materials. Reputations are nearly in all cases simply quest chains that you need to follow from start to end, resulting in merely doing 20-30 quests more than usual.
Gold squish will happen in January, 2017. In all reality, if the gold you accumulated is meant to be spent, you can spend it all by that time.
