I hope you're going to pay back half of the money people spent on gold

Some players do not want to spend their hard earned gold. They enjoy sitting on mountains of cash.

And some of those players have paid a pretty penny(real money) to get those mountains of cash.

Let's say someone spent $100 on gold, and you cut that gold in half(Because they didnt spend it, BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT OBLIGATED TO.) I feel you are then obligated to pay that person $50.

If you do not, then you will most likely be getting sued. Take care!

I'm with you in the fight that the changes they're trying to implement are unfair and not wise. I also agree that there might be some players that do not want to spend their gold. However, you're missing some points;

If you spent some money through a donation in order to gather some gold from the marketplace you have until the end of this current year to spend all of that in whatever you want. You're not wasting the real money you invested in it - You're using it. It's impossible to sue someone for such a thing and it's impossible to even make a case out of the words you're using. You have time to spend your gold - Do it wisely. You might get it back really quick if you know how to invest.
