Low damage as a warrior

Hey guys, I just came back to playing wow after a couple years without playing. I decided to make a warr because I had never played one before. I just hit 80 some days ago and started doing bgs (i'm mostly focused on pvp). The thing is the damage I do is really low. I know I'm not very geared yet, but even so I feel like I don't do damage at all. I see other ungeared guys playing other classes and it seems that they pull more damage than me. So, whats going on? is warr really in a bad state or is it just that I suck at playing warr??

warriors on fresh 80 / low gear one of the worst dps. Just keep gearing up but anywas normaly warriors start shining with icc gear.

Try to follow one of the guides in the forum. Also, check that all your spells are at max ranks!😊
