Suspended Account

Well, i can't use the ban appeal system to make the gm's check my account because there is no "select ban to appeal" option.
So i wonder if someone can check my account for me.
I've logged in TWICE ONLY. one to create characters and check how the rates are, got ONE character to level 13 or something like that. and the second time was to put addons, fix ui and get a few bags a friend sent me.
That was it, twice and got banned for suspicious behavior? WTF rofl.
The 2nd time i did use a vpn to reduce lag, so if that's illegal please let me know and i will stop using it.

Yea I just got an email as well saying my account has been suspended but according to the website I haven't been seen for over 73 days sooo what is this "unusual suspected activity" about and why am I suspended for 3 weeks all of the sudden.

Edit: lol? I try to go edit my account an add 2 step authentication like the email suggests I do and when i try it says "Account is banned"

Using the VPN is what was bad. It can detect when you are logging in from a different IP address, that would explain the "unusual suspected activity"

I haven't logged in to my account for 73 days I've not used any VPN or anything and if someone else tried logging into my account it would show in the history with the IP that tried logging in and there is none.. my question still stands.. What "Unusual Suspected Activity?"

today our guild all baned due useing vpn connect... thats ridiculous.

Well, good to know about the vpn, so if that was it i wonder if i can get unbanned lol

Logging ingame once should lift the 'Suspicious Activity' ban.

but today warmane change our account's password....

Make use of the reset password feature.

I have the same problem, logged in my main account 12 hours ago but now it says "Incorrect username or password" although i haven't changed anything. And when i try to reset password i don't receive any e-mail from warmane. What's this ...?

Suspicious Activity bans happen when you login with a banned IP - such as easily can be the case of VPNs. It's not a standing ban, it doesn't keeps you from logging in the game, and it goes away when you login with a normal IP that isn't banned.

We don't change passwords or anything like that, though, so that's more than likely the result of a player's lax security being exploited and the account being stolen by someone.
