Account Merge / Link

hello, i have seen this new feature in account management, i quote:

Players are now able to link an account and transfer any remaining characters above the 10 character limit to a fresh account.

i dont actually understand what is this for

example A:

i have an X account with 6 character and an Y account with 7 character

i link X to Y

what happens?

the thing i would need is to move a character from an account to another, is possible? i have 2 character on same account and i would like to have them splitted in 2 different account

is possible?

No, it's not. The closest you can have is "buying" your own character through Character Trading.

well that would be a little hard since it costs minimum 428 coins XD

The system is not made to work as "merging two accounts into one".

It is made to assist players who had more than 10 characters on Icecrown when Deathwing and Ragaros merged into a single server.

As I've commented on another post, such implementation might be a critical security breach, and I highly doubt that Warmane staffs would want that in place.
