Gold squish on 1 January 2017 does not make sense..

As we all know the gold rate has been changed into x3 rate. But the gold squish is scheduled on 1st January 2017. Why not squish now since the rate has already changed. It makes no sense to farm gold at x3 rate and then have it squished on january....for those who have maxed during x7 rate it might not mean much, but for those new players playing at the new rate, its going to be heartbreaking. So squish the gold already so that we can start farming them again.

Problem is that since the warning prices are rising pretty much.

like i mentioned in another post

panic buying

Giving enough time to people who wish to use up their gold now. Some has million.

While I am sitting on 100 gold on 7 different characters. Inequality.

But its relation with the games inherent goldsinks changes, rep costs, mount costs, gear costs, flying costs and so on and forth will all be still the same. And it makes it a lot easier (well not really since x3) for newer players to catch up.
