Good day to you fellow adventurers!
I just read the topic about the new point shop and to be honest I'm dissapointed, for atleast two different reasons. The obvious one is the item removal, but that's somehow understandable. What's more significant is the discussion itself, player-wise. Instead of trying to argue and finding a decent solution, these 7 players, that nobody gives a shiz about by the way, yelled at Staff before they even had the chance to explain themselves. These 7 players think they represent the whole community with their infantile opinion, again opinion noone cares about, while 90% of community doesn't even visit forums and they don't even have a clue something's going on right now.
It's only reasonable that the moderator closed the thread before the real flame started, because everyone knows what was gonna happen. However, on the more important note:
How about we put a new option outthere for everyone's condideration, and that is ~30 days before the point shop changes. I think its only fair to everyone, because 9/10 people will still be missing a point or 2 for the item - these 3 days will only change who it's gonna be. 30 days so everyone can finish their last item, but can't start a new one. I repeat, I think its only fair, so people can finish their last item and then they will be able to decide wether or not they wanna keep on collecting the points for services and whatnot.
Maybe a limitation at 27 points before the change, so people with 1.2p/day can't get a whole new item.
How did I come up with 9/10 people? Considering "voting-and-waiting-for-an-item" people are distributed evenly throughout the month; 3 days till change; 30 days for an item. That means only 3/30 people will finish their last item; and the remaining 27/30 (9/10) will be...well, atleast wondering...
I'm not expecting things to change after my topic, I don't even expect that anyone would care about my opinion as I would not either, but from my point of view, this would be a fair solution. Not 3 days, not yelling without arguing. What most players don't realize is that in this particular relationship you actually have a chance to be heared. The staff actually interacts, go check out other games or whatnot where noone gives a damn. Damn you look like youre from planet Damn!
Have a nice day,
The Sincerest Random
