Rub and PUG - Lil QQ Topic
Hello there fellow adventurers,
title says it - Im gonna cry a little bit... but not that much! PUGs a.k.a Publicly United Groups (PickUp Groups). Not that I'm too much serious about this issue, but I know that most of you will know what I'm talking about. Rub and PUGs, or, Pugs aint dogs cuz dogs are loyal jk.
We all know PUGs are bad. It's just a bunch of randoms trying to waste each others IDs, but from my perspective it's getting worse with every week. In this particular case I will be talking about Icecrown Horde side ICC pugs. It's always the same, 4/12 RO unless its semi-grun of a decent guild. People just don't give a damn. Some of them join just for mark, some just to try a DBW drop, and some are just not cappable of doing more. People join when they got less than hour before they gtg and most importantly they don't have patience at all. But they surely want to join some of that raid even tho they often don't even know mechanics of either bosses or their own classes. Also they join with char they don't mind getting saved with... I don't mind wasting an ID, but dam this is sad.
A lot of people will say: Join a guild. No. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm currently working on my 6th and 7th alt, and I dont have time each and every day to be there on time, better said, at specific time. Once or twice a week tops but that's it. When I'm on, I'm on, and I wanna raid.
I'm not really looking for any tips, advices or anything, because we all know where the problem(s) at and that there is nothing like a real solution for this. I just wanna spark up a discussion within the community, because I know that this is bothering a lot of people. Also I want to hear some of that funny stories from you guys about pugs, like mine this week: 1/12 hc pug or full 6k+ raid for 25nm (ikr), that RO's at DBS because leader goes afk and offline afterwards with ML (Regroup? JK).
And people please, dont hate the messenger carrying the message we all are familiar with. I want to hear your opinion on this note, not an expectable reaction from angry people. Discuss.
Sincerely, Another Random
