Transmog Different Weapon Types?

Hello all, I am curious as to whether or not I am able to transmog a 1H dagger into a 1H sword that I cannot use. My plan is to transmog my PvP Dagger into one of the Warglaives; however, I am a Shaman. Will I be able to do this to my dagger? Thank you all.

Hey, i'm afraid not. Fists->fists, daggers->daggers, sword/maces/axes/->sword/maces/axes as far as 1h weapons are cocerned.

Hi there, thanks for the quick replies! I was just confused by Mercy's quick FAQ on Transmogs which stated:

"- Currently you will only be able to transmog the same armor and weapon types.

- You are able to transmog 2h axes to 2h swords and 2h maces, for example. Polearms to staves. Etc. (You cannot transmog a 1h weapon into a 2h weapon.)"

What does this mean, and am I only able to transmog 2H weapons with any 2H weapons? Thanks.
