Difference between Icecrown and Lordaeron?

What is the difference between Icecrown and Lordaeron, aside from rates (exp, gold, rep, etc)?

By that question i mean are they using the same core, thus the same exact bugs fixed, for example? I know Lordaeron came out and it's selling point was something like 99% working content, but was Icecrown given the same treatement/overhaul?

I.E. - Are they essentially identical aside from rates?

They use the same core so they have same fixes.
The only difference is that Lordaeron is a progressive realm, they are at ToC now . There isn't Points or Coins store for gear.
They also made some custom changes: No RDF, No Heirlooms, Raid boss buffed
