Missing 2 characters

When Molten fell and Warmane gave us the lv80 boost and pvp/pve sets i made 2 characters from this account on another realm.When the 2 realms merged i noticed that the 2 characters i made on the other realm were missing the characters were a lv80 blood elf rogue called Ameyuri and a lv80 tauren druid called Toxintaur when i go to the merge tab the message says that "Players are now able to link an account and transfer any remaining characters above the 10 character limit to a fresh account." but i have 8 characters now and 2 from that server i dont want to send them to another account where i have no use of them and are the characters even lost can i retrieve them back?
