a Way to make frostwolf population 5-6k

So frostwolf population is at 2-2.8k at peak times , its not a bad population , But there is a way to even make it 5-6k and even 7-8k if warmane do this

3v3 , raid finder , are not active in frost wolf , thats why we want more population


Warmane should implement a new Feature that Let players copy their characters from Wotlk/cataclysm realms to mop realms , Sure not everything is copied , some is transferred , Conditions :

1) Only 2-3 Characters can be copied from Realms for free , other for donations
2) Mounts are copied
3) Gold is Transferred !! not copied !!
4) some achievements/titles is not copied nor transferred ( such as arena master etc..)
and a bit more

Icecrown population is 12k , and there is 2k in que <3 , so if this 2k people copy their character from wotlk to mop , and play mop for 2 hours ( so que ends) this will increase population , people go play frostwolf till icecrown que time ends , without Beginning from 0 in frostwolf , they will have their lvl/mounts/pets etc copied

In addition to that , and to encourage people copy their character and play frostwolf , Make an event for it as follow :

All people who Copy their characters and lvl them to 90 , Will get a Reward in wotlk realms ( a mount )

so whats your opinions about this community ? and this way warmane players who played here and were with warmane from the start , will not begin from lvl 1 on other realms

MoP will never have that many players, it's a trash expansion that is dumbed down and caters to children, it never should have existed to begin with.

How to make Frostwolf reach 5k+ population? Idk maybe fix enough bugs to make it as good as the WOTLK realms?

This, the reason the mop server is so empty isnt because Mop is a bad expansion (its usually considered one of the best ones) its cause the server is in really bad shape compared to the woltk ones.


For starters, if you want players to stay you have to have them level to 90 - which in itself is very hard because the leveling content (1-58, 80-90, outland and northrend work mostly fine) is extremely bugged. Phasing and scipting is almost non existent. + you have the old mop problem of 68-80 taking way to long. That, and the rdf doesnt work at all for leveling, the xp is screwed, the quests dont work and 90% of instances arent open anyways. Its also a really big problem that the end leveling 85-90 is super annoying because none the chains actually work due to the aformentioned issues, you have to run from quest hub to quest hub and do the intro quests but you can follow up but have to go to the next hub once the quests dry up/become impossible to do.

Then you are at lvl 90, bgs are extremely active on the server which is great (its forced due to you having to win at least 4 a week to be able to cap, something which didnt exist during retail, the rbg cap wasnt doable via random bgs), but pve isnt. The dungeons are extremelly buggy, challenge modes miss their main thing (the scaling down doesnt work, so people do them in +100ilvl compared to what was intended) and a lot of the raids arent open. And as OP said, raid finder doesnt work either, so theres a lot of trouble gearing up. The timeless isle works, somewhat, but you still wont be ready to raid unless you spend a lot of gold or get pvp gear.

And even if you get gear, the endgame raid doesnt work properly. So its a bit of wasted time. Which leaves world content and pvp, and while bgs are active arenas arent. And world content is universally bugged, same problem as with leveling basicely. To many quests just dont work.


2v2 will pop queues but the mmr system doesnt work properly (its not uncommon to lose 400 mmr after winning a game for example) and so few people queue that you meet the same people anyways, regardless of gear, mmr or cr unless you queue at primetimes. 3v3s and rbgs are dead anyways (due to to few players). Which might be fixable if more people came into the server, but the pvp itself suffers from a lot of minor to major bugs.

Minor ones like camouflage of hunters breaking upon jumping or picking up buffs in BGs and pets moving way to slow during the effect to medium ones like pets ignoring los and moving through pillars to stuff like some fears being an 8 second stun (not like it was during retail, but proper stuns), ring of frost being a 8 second deepfreeze (i.e damage doesnt break it), roots not breaking on damage. Not to mention that some classes are totally broken ( for example: combat rogues mastery is proccing way to often and they build buffs way way to fast if compred to mop during retail) . And there are a ton more. Some of these have been reported for months and havnt been fixed.


So before anything else the leveling ought to get fixed, the actual continent this is playing on (pandaria) needs to work properly and all the bugs concerning pve and pvp need to be gone. If that happens people will come anyways, Mop is a fairly popular expansion.


It is worth noting that it has been stated multiple times that when wrath is done being developed (probably when lordearon gets ICC) all focus will shift onto MOP. So they seem to be aware of the problems and are going to start working on them soon.


But without that, just allowing people to start at 80/85 with a lot of gold and mounts and so on isnt going to do anything, the server itself will stop them from playing.

That wasn't even close to a reason why nobody liked it. People don't want trash expansions that were dumbed down just to cater to kids who were too bad to play the other expansions. WoW wasn't meant to be a game for 5 year olds.

No it hasnt, season 14 and 15 are universally considered to be the best seasons ever, alongside season 8 (3.3.5a). The pve content was done extremely well, ToT for example is an amazing raid, and SOO really isnt bad either. Even the dungeons are more complex then any woltk raid encounters. Mop had its weaknesses early on in the expansion, the absurd daily counts for example, but the last 2 patches were done extremely well. And p. much everyone agrees on that.


Mop only had 1 weakness, which was its setting. But gameplay and design wise it was amazing.

there is no way to increase its population so high.. mop is past and not so good expansion at all. Legion is the future. All other private servers concentrating up to Wotlk or Legion at the moment. Legion have a lot of potential in game. And a lot of players want Legion to try in private servers world.
Forget MOP just as bad dream. Leave where it is, fix just and thats all. Move one up to Legion now.

Cater to kids how? By having the most balanced season in the game (S15), where so many different specs and comps were viable? By not having any PvE nonsense imbalacing PvP? Get off your high wotlk horse please.
