I installed Pandaria expansion and when i try to get in game it doesnt let me, some error shows up telling me to try to run game in administrator mode or to disable firewall, i tried all but none, i tried reinstalling but still does that, pls help how to fix this :D
Follow these steps:
1) Restart your PC ( this is important)
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only".
i have done it all now and it still says this: Data/enGB/wow-update-enGB-18273.MPQ: World of Warcraft can’t make a required change to an archive file. Be sure you have write permission for the World of Warcraft folder or try running the game in administrator mode. For more information, see: https://battle.net/support/article/6910
alright tried again now it gets in game but it wants me to type in some code?! i type my name and pw and it says type here generated code wtf is that?
it means you have actived 2 step authentication in-game. You can disabled it here: https://www.warmane.com/account/security
disable " Enable in-game protection " > save changes
