Questions about gold trade on marketplace

Hullo, I have a few questions to people who managed to sell some of their gold for coins on the marketplace.
1) The 1 coin fee for the service - does it get deducted if I don't manage to sell ( nobody takes my offer ) ? Is it an advance fee or does it get deducted from the coins I make off of the deal ?
2) Are the coins usable immediately afterwards or do I have to wait ?
3) How fast is the market moving ? Is it easy to sell your gold ? Assuming of course that your price is lower than any currently found on the marketplace. How long does it take you before you get a buyer usually ?

1) It's deducted from the amount if someone buys your gold. If you sell it for 3 coins, you get only 2 coins. If it's not bought, you don't lose anything.
2) You can use them immediately on store and services. You have to wait 72 hours if you want to use them on trading or gift them.
3) I haven't tried selling gold lately but if price is good it usually sold within a few hours on Icecrown.
