It's most likely not a staff member. When a staff member whispers you there should be a Blizzard logo before their name.

If it's not there, it's not a staff member. Staff impersonation is against rules and can be reported by making screenshots and opening a support ticket in game.
i made the ticket asking them why my name is inappropriate, but they didnt even reply me.
i will again make ticket this time i will also include Screenshot

Then it's just a regular player pretending to be a GM. As far as I know he can get permanent ban for that if you report it.Quote:

Today i hv sent PM to Head GM on forum, and also hv created ingame ticket along with SS (hope it really is someone impersonating warmane staff)
