gold squish ...community and pugs?

so its been a while since the gold squish now and pugs are not doing well at all imo.... i havent made it passed 6 bosses since the squish full 6k gs groups with achieves ,...we got people leaving .failing.. dc ...ninjas and my all time favorite , "that loots not for you" and people leave...and the reserved items...yeah its way out of control..ive never reserved an item and have many 6k gs toons + i only pug and i havent had the chance to be able to donate yet..so none of my items were bought .... the pugs used to be decent , dont get me wrong i had been in some real bad ones , but since the squish SMH , ...now ive only ever pugged on molten/warmane ....never raided with a guild ... im only missing sindra and lk heroic ..wich is cool if i ever want those achieves ill join a guild butt theese pugs arent getting passed 6 bosses of normal WTF

when boe and primos are reserved and you have 6kgs raid it isnt polite and your not taking world of wacraft into moderation when your not sharing boe's and primos and then people leave cause they dont need loot or achievements anymore and are essentially playing for nothing other than to watch recount, people are asking for ridiculously high GS and reserving loot and raids arent staying together , greed is taking over ..

on a side note to the GS inflation
ide say minimum requirements would go something along these lines
icc 10n 5k gs
icc 10H 5.5k gs
icc 25n 5.5k gs
icc 25h 6k gs
all gemmed and enchanted properly with a good knowledge of your class/spec
toc10n 4.5k gs
toc10h 5k gs
toc25n 5k gs
toc25H 5.5k gs

if you ask for theese gs's raids will stay together better less afk...do better dps and be more focused, because people will play harder and better when they actually need loot and havent gotten bored of a maxed geared toon yet

help the community by being a team player .. even if it is global raiding

what are your thoughts ?

My personal thoughts are: start your own pick up groups without those restrictions instead of complaining about what other people do with the groups they start.

to people, and to OP in particular, people who make PuGs via global are NOT obligated to take anyone because that person has x amount of gs or y achievement. the pug leader invites whoever he want to his group, so be it full bis min-maxed chars, or some 4k character.
my point is, make your own groups and please stop making unnecessary threads ktxhbai.

PuGs are already cancer to begin with its just the quality that deteriorated overtime due to pop going in and out and some being casuals at most so they want to skip farming stuff via profession and all of those with little time in their hands.

I really fail to see the reason why taking someone's gold should certainly make him/her a better player. Let alone the fact that all knowledgeable players never had any hunger for gold on their own. You can't expect gold squishes to "fix" or "heal" or "teach" players how to play better or how to behave. The widespread joy prior to the squish just led a lot of people to believe it would be a godsend.

The real problem that the squish never addressed was that good equipment will never get out of someone's inventory. Let's say a person obtains (mostly) everything he/she needs - in a matter of a few months - what's left for them to do? Grind gold? Not really. All that matters is the equipment even if all the gold is all taken away.

The real reason pugs are bad is not that the gold squish was great or not really that great for the economy. It actually is that nobody gives a s**t about others in pugs. People don't ever lose any good equipment that they acquire and put on. While they need items they'd be like "Please can I join please please". Once they're geared you have absolutely no means to talk them into behaving "decently".
