What To Do (A Fix) "Account Needs to be Converted to a Battle.net Acc"

this has been happening to me alot lately.
even after you've set your computer's user to admin, even given it special permission to override anything about your WoW folders (really only need to uncheck 'read only' for the WTF folder under properties) sometimes after turning off my computer, particularly after a windows update, I try to log in and I get the message "This Account Needs to be Converted into a Battle.net Account, Visit here yada yada..."

I couldnt figure a way around it other than to delete the entire wow folder and replace it with a 'fresh from download' copy i have stored just in case something like this happens.

Edit: Fix i came up with is not working. Need someinformation on what is going wrong.

I contacted the technical forum GM, he told me to go to the advanced settings in windows firewall and set up a new inbound rule from Blizzards website (Port 3724), in addition, checked config.wtf to make sure it had the set realmlist "warmane.logon.com", and uncheck the read only properties option of the main wtf folder (last two i was aware of, shoulda guessed it was a firewall issue tho :/)

hope this helps anyone who runs into this.

also i highly suggest keeping a backup copy of the original 5.4.8 mists file you torrented, just in case someone goes wrong you can just copy it over to desktop or something... ill take a 2 min copy process over a 2 hour torrent download anyday lol.
