Evidence for my ban?

Is there any way I can view evidence against me for a ban? I was banned for advertising but I haven't played for 33 days and all I did when I logged on was check the AH. Is there anyway I can see when this ban was created? i really just want some extra information. I already opened a ticket but am posting here in case I can get some extra information. Thanks!

Edit: I have already open a ticket for a ban appeal and am waiting back from that. Seems like I can''t get any additional information apart from the ticket. Thanks anyone0.

You won't get any evidence because it might reveal who has reported you. It's usually stolen accounts that get banned for advertising. Leaked passwords from other sites seem to be used to steal accounts and use them for advertising. Advertising bans can also happen if you have shared IP with an account that has been used for advertising. Since you didn't say what kind of ticket you made, you have to make a ban appeal using support system on website here. If you did that then just wait. There is nothing else you can do about it. Also change your accounts password if it's possible while banned and consider using 2 step authentication.

I am having the same problem. I got banned for advertising. I do not understand why because i did not write anything on any chat ( i was leveling a new char and before that i have not played for like a month). I cannot make a ban appeal.

If you can not make ban appeal, you can also send an email to [email protected].

if you cannot make a ban appeal it means that one of the ips you've been using have been banned, do as anyone said in that case

Thanks for the info, I already submitted a ticket for a ban appeal. I know I logged in about a month ago, the hijacking could have taken place very soon after I guess? I did have 2-step at one point but disabled it, I guess I'll re-enable it.
